Sum last minute Pride month +Cursed Posts.

Ive barely have been drawing cuz life be thought sum times. Even tho no one show any interest to my Cat au i still have love for them so i might still post but wont be consistent since i dont have an audience. That in mind i had sum time to draw this pride month so enjoy this GAY CAT:

Well i did and my autism GRABBED them for some HEADCANONS- (if anyone of you wanna make headcanons for them pileofsolp says everyone is welcomed to) i will share more deep parts of my headcanons in other post but since this is a pridemonth post (kinda?) I PRECENT TO YOU: intersex transmasc mammal headcanon.

Well actually for that i have to mention @britishneonjello artist who was a HUGE inspiration, as you can see they have some scars on the belly that addition is part of a plotline introduced by previously mentioned britishneonjello! Where they have like… 3 pups? Legitimately LOVELY but yeh since they where both able to get pregnant AND impregnate the other i kinda headcanon them as intersex cuz i have free will! Mentioning this lovely plotline of them having sum pups i present to you THE QUEER FAMILY:

Dragon character belongs to me but the design of the character was by “IvonChee” on DeviantArt. I just saw that pride flag with the cool dragon and i was like… i have a cool dragon from the same gender. Wanted to do a piece more personal so to add a flag specific of my gender identity felt like a cool hug to myself.

Okay so…do I like the show? Uhm ngl this show is really good to watch with a friend and just straight up dog on because of how bad it is 💀. Like the animation and art is ass sort, the plot is reused to the point the order of the eps don’t even matter bro. The plot doesn’t even matter tbh because kuzco always learns the same lesson and forgets it the next episode or something like damn bitch are you dumb or do have amnesia?? 💀 he’s actually such an asshole. the racism and sexism doesn’t suprise me and the supposed gr00ming…..ehhhhh….after the first episode…the way he talk to Malina made me uncomfortable 💀 ME THE VIEWER. Like it fest so wrong on so many levels like stop😭 I’m not even jealous I would have liked them had the first ep played out differently than it did💀😭😭. ALSO THATS NOT HOW KUZCO WOULD ACT IF HE HAD FEELINGS FOR SOMEONE LIKE DUDE. Like why is he freak. Ik it’s a spin off but like can you at least make it accurate 💀😭😭. This is after the events of the movie Ik his whole character isn’t gonna change but like also kuzco is ass at flirting and I don’t think he would act so confidently if he actually liked someone like how he’s supposed to like Malina 😭 I feel like he’d be more nervous because it’s not an emotion or feeling he’s felt before or much of. My kuzco would literally be stuttering, meanwhile TENS kuzco has his tounge out looking at Malina. My kuzco would be ass at flirting, but not to the point it would be borderline predatory 💀, my kuzco can take a hint from the one he loves, because he can actually view them as an equal, not continuously flirt with someone who’s acting as though they are not interested. They rushed things so hard with kuzco and Malina to the point it’s actually bothering me I would have liked them but the money hungry bigbacks at Disney fucked that shit up. The only thing good about this show is the humor, but not even because it’s actually funny but based on how completely up surd it is 💀. Like bro. TELL ME WHY DID YZMA IN ONE EPISODE LITERALLY TURN KRONK INTO A LLAMA TO EAT KUZCOS HOMEWORK 💀 he could have just eaten it in his human form 💀 or better yet have just stolen it so he actually wouldn’t have had an explanation at all💀💀💀 but no all these extra steps for what 💀. i had played one of their games before, Elevator Hitch, and i really really enjoyed it! so im very excited for this new game that theyve released

though, this game is probably really different from Elevator Hitch, because that game was a visual novel type of game while this one has restaurant tycoon gameplay

still, im very excited

hi goose this is a few days old now but finally getting around to answering this!

aaa thank you I'm so glad you like my descriptions :D it was definitely a bit tough getting back into the glass writing groove with the style I use for the descriptions and stuff so I'm glad it turned out ok

YEAHHH TATTOO TIME. every single time I see fanart of the tattoo I freak out (/pos) so much because all the interpretations are SO cool. I love seeing what people come up with because I myself have no artistic ability, I can only describe what's in my head through words, so when people are able to actually put that into art form it just makes me so happy

yes exactly that's why I wanted it on his pulse!! I wanted it to sit right over the reminder that he's human! that he has blood pumping through his veins! everyone has that blood and that heartbeat and I wanted the tattoo to sit right above that both because of the connection to his heartbeat, but also because it's the place other people can feel your pulse. it's the connection point almost between your pulse and others, if that makes sense.

(random fun fact, I can't feel my own pulse on my wrist. doctors and nurses can't get a pulse from my wrist either. like there have been many times I've gone to the doctor and the nurse has tried to take my pulse and they frown and readjust their hand and then they try the other wrist and no matter what it doesn't work and I'm just sitting there. the only place you can get a pulse off of me besides straight up feeling my heartbeat is on my carotid artery on my throat)

I plotted it out a bit before my trip, and I specifically wanted to finish ch 25 before my trip because I knew ch 26 was going to be the one I'd most want to write after I got back. I needed a REALLY good exciting chapter to come back to and the alternating format was going to be the way I sucked myself back into the story after being out of that headspace for 3 weeks straight, and it worked. it was just so cinematic in my head y'know? I can perfectly picture the flipping between past and present with like different color grading and lighting and music and all that

additionally, listeners, at the end of the day, are us. if an artist is an afab female, chances are that listener will also be an afab female. some artists may not draw pocs not because they just don’t want to, but because they aren’t well-versed in depicting their features and don’t want to do it an injustice. there’s no need to rush to the worst possible and negative explanation. i have never seen myself represented in a single piece of redacted fanart, however i know better than to just nonsensically complain about it — because complaining won’t get anything done (it’ll only do more harm if anything).

first of all his horns r supposed to be somewhat like the evo symbol. shortly after the last edit he got kicked out of the brooding caverns early and they just kinda gave him over to whatever cult represents the watchers here. also it's my au and i get to decide what old grian content is canon. yhs is too. one of his horns got ripped out by sam while they were both like 3 sweep olds. also he dresses like a rust instead of a purple (w the makeup instead of facepaint. slay) because something something not wanting to associate with the other purplebloods.

for scar uhhhh. i just think he fits rlly well as a jade. cannot explain why. maybe it's lanque but he just gives me male jade vibes. also jellie is his lusus and thats important and everyone needs to know this. his whole story with jellie is kinda like crytum and platycat (if u havent played all of sbb, he never had a lusus and then got a cat one for emotional support after moving to the stronghold). scar's horns r also based off allay wings and i think they r rlly cool :D

i made mumbo a gold and i was gonna make his eyes red like redstone, but i thought he fit more like jentha with whatever the fuck she had going on. his horns r supposed to be redstone torches. dunno where he fits in the present though (ie second edit) maybe he died idk.

i have less 2 say abt ren and martyn since i dont remember much from 3l but i am so insane abt them. ren as a rust and martyn as an indigo :shoutpole: GET THIS. ren takes sestros place as ceo of the world basically but his second in command is on the complete other side of the spectrum. idk if the differing lifespan thing is canon in ve (like it is in aleph null) but it WOULD be funny if it was.

Talking about the concept art of Heath (G3)

Hey, so his concept art dropped today in the morning i think, and i wanted to say my opinion about it xP

(This is just me being autistic part 1000 of the series called my life)

Honestly i LOVE those two designs, favs out of the six

The dark eyes of the second? Its looks so cool, it kinda fits way more on the idea of Heath beign the son of the 'Ruler of the Underworld' (Did they call him Satan or Devil or Hades in the show??). Its more edgy looking, it would clash with the personality he has maybe? Like in a good way

Not a fan of the more redish orange of the first, but it fits pretty god with the darkers spots (i think its like magna chunks?? Im gonna call it that). Those parts, chunks, spots, whatever, they can be interpreted as a skin condition he has, and this SO important to me, you NEVER see characters with that, because its hard to animate or "non important", but to a person like me (I have seborrheic dermatitis!) It means a lot.

I still don't understand why did they choose those colours for his clothes, it stands out but in an awful way, the light blue shouldn't be the main colour for his hoodie, it should be the complimentary one, and making the flames in orange to red gradient doesn't help AT ALL

Those two, the first one mostly, are the only ones that you can look at them and get Heath vibes, like you can recognize its Heath (lanky body shape, expressions and pose he's doing help with this too)

I like that they went with more accesories with these, really liking the metal chain honestly (and the earrings!), and the black nails too, it fits him

I prefer the design with the buzzcut, i actually tend to use that as a HC in my drawings, still don't know why they didn't give him one in the show, because his bald head when his fire goes out doesnt look right at all :/

His design looks so good with black, it makes the fire stand out in a good way, his shorts and shoes look way better in here. But the vest? Im sorry, tge idea its cool but it fuck ups his silluette, hes too square looking, and it gives off a totally different vibe. Also the long pants with the same exact design as the shirt? It doesn't look good

ive been wanting to ramble bout this for years (like since 2019 HAHA) but i held off on it because i figured the fandom phenomenon i was seeing was gonna be a one off thing. something thatd fade with time.

it wasnt. it's still here and so i wanna articulate what i think about

the fast food-ification of fandom

here’s the thing about fandom right now; we operate on social media platforms that are inherently fast paced. social media platforms these days prioritize new and popular content, but more than that, it creates an audience that is always searching for new content very, very quickly. 

tumblr is a bit of a lesser evil, in terms of contributing to this (still does, tho, dont think im exempting hellsite derogatory, LMAO). but twitter, imo, is a hellscape with a system that hammers this in so so much: the lack of an explorable archive, no account specific tag search mechanism, a timeline algorithm that shows an account's followers the popular tweets first instead of chronologically and oftentimes even if you follow that account you will not be able to see all the tweets that account makes lest you go to the profile specifically. twitter is built for "new new new!" and it's not its fault, i guess, cuz it was not designed with fandom interaction in mind. still, it's become a very popular fandom platform and the "new new new!" mindset the system promotes ends up seeping into the members of fandom itself.

and there’s nothing wrong with wanting new content. but the problem here, i think, is the speed at which we consume fanwork. and the lack of memory for fanwork thats already been made.

fanwork consumption feels like it's going 100000000 mph with these kinds of systems and thanks to the lack of a navigate-able archive or tagging system, it's nigh impossible to find something from even last week. an incredible piece of fanart or fanfic or any fanwork gets attention for 3 days tops before it's lost and very very difficult to find. things are so fast and it's harder to remember them now.

im gonna bash on twitter again (SORRY KJSFBSD, like, i do have a twitter btw so im speaking from experience. i'd like to make it clear im not bashing ppl who do like/use twitter, im waving my hands frustratedly at twitter's systems) cuz tweet wc limits make it so that literally not much can be said! additionally, to add comments in QRT takes attention/notifs away from original poster, so if u QRT an art with praise, OP will see that! but if ppl reply more praise to the art on that QRT, OP will not get notified so that praise might as well have been yelled to the void

im a passionate believer that if youve got something nice to say about a fanwork and/or the creator of that fanwork, say it on their turf so they can see it. twitter makes it easier for this to not happen. positive attention and feedback matters so so much to creators and im p sure im not alone in saying that i cherish each and every comment (be it on ao3 or tumblr tags/comments or asks) ive ever gotten

and like, i know the argument to that is "make fanwork for yourself! dont make it for attention, do it cuz you enjoy it!" and "for every feedback you dont get, theres many lurkers who value and love what you do!"

i agree with that first thing very much but only the bit that says "do it cuz you enjoy it!" cuz yea! fandom is about having fun! but also like...isnt the point of fandom the fact that it's not just you alone, but you in a community?

a big draw of fandom, for me, is that it's likeminded deranged nerds all obsessed about the same thing. these are people on similar wavelengths and theyre people PLURAL. do fanwork cuz you enjoy it but the implication that a fancreator should be happy in isolation doesnt make sense cuz thats not what fandom is about.

and as for "there are lurkers who silently enjoy what you make" well...why?

why not say something when youve got something nice to say?

be it fanart or fanfic or fanmeta or anything, if the thought already pops up in your head, why not say it somewhere the creator can see it?

i totally understand if youre shy or if it's difficult to put into words whatever your thoughts are, like, huge mood. but also fandom becomes an infinitely funner space to be in when people are saying things

even a comment thats something simple and short makes the current landscape of fast paced churning out of fanworks feel less like we’re shouting in a forest alone, and more like we’re shouting in a forest and somebody yelled “I LOVED THIS” back. it’s really nice.

this is not a criticism towards anybody, but instead just kinda like, an inquiry to how we consume and interact with fanwork, these days. it’s really fast. like, so fast. tags update daily with new things every single day, every second, and it’s easy to just look and look and not say a thing. and that ease of fanwork consumption also makes it easy to forget just how hard it is to make things. how hard it is to make anything at all.

so much heart and effort is put into every work in fandom, and ive always seen fandom as a space for unapologetic enjoyment and community. treating fandom like a fast-food transaction where u get a thing in 5 minutes and drive off is...well, i dunno. but for me, among many things, it makes us forget just how much heart and effort is in all things.

Im also gonna take this opportunity to info dump in relation to Licht-

So, I am still working on making ikemen ocs. I just decided to take a small break to rework the current characters I have and make them proper art and profiles. Might as well be happy with the finished product, yeah? And I already do have an OC for Licht.

This character does not currently have a design, all I can currently say on how they look is she has red hair and pale icy blue eyes. Their name is Mila Grayfield and her pronouns are They/She, they're 22 years old.

With how much Licht's route talks about his and Emma's love hurting each other, I figured that.. May as well make my OC for Licht be just as fucking tragic right? So here's a bit of Mila's backstory.

In my AU, the Grayfield family is a family of assassins, each generation tasked with assassinating the Royal family. This all started because of Glen Grayfield, Mila's grandfather. He was increasing jealous of the Royals and wanted that power for himself. So, he decided to make it his life's goal to try and take out the King as a well-known assassin. After he was caught and executed, his wife decided to teach his goal onto their children, Oliver and Leona, who carried on this ideal.

Leona then had twin daughters of her own, Mila and Mia Grayfield, who she trained to also be assassins. Mila showed the most promise so she was tasked with the most difficult missions. This harsh life caused Mila to become cold and reserved, hesitant with getting close to others but still willing to do whatever is asked of them. At first, she was deadset on rejecting the offer of being Belle, refusing to believe that her heart was beautiful or pure despite the life of sin they lived. But, since it was something to do to serve her Kingdom, she agreed.

Even after falling for Prince Licht, Mila refused to allow themself to open up to him or be vulnerable. She firmly believed that if he or anyone in the palace knew who they were, she'd be executed without a single question asked. And when the time to leave the palace came, they straight up told Licht it'd be better if he completely forgot who they were. Referring to themself as a 'dirty and hypocritical sinner who had no right to tell Licht how to live.'

When Sariel came to Mila and asked if she would return to the palace to see Licht, they just about refused. But gave in anyway. And thats about as far as I've thought up Mila's story with Licht. I still have more to plan.

I thought the idea of forbidden love between a prince and a commoner is way too cliche so.. Why not forbidden love between a prince and an assassin raised to kill him is a bit more interesting? It adds a bit more drama to the story if Mila actually understands Licht on an emotional and empathetic level over sympathetic.

Also, like most of my characters, Mila has a.. complicated relationship with their own family. Mila resents her grandfather and grandmother for the life she has to live, despite never meeting either of them. Mila doesn't know who her uncle is, as he left Rhodolite months prior to their birth. And her relationship with her mother is.. complicated too. Leona was always a kind and doting mother, but the pressure she placed on her daughters was too much.

As for Mila's relationship with her twin sister, Mia.. Its probably the best relationship they have. Mila adores her 'little' sister and does whatever they can to protect her, even if it means they have to take on more dangerous jobs and put their life on the line.

Also I currently have no idea whether I'll also make Mia a love interest OC in Ikemen Prince. Like- I know with Ikerev, I have both Iris and Kahlia as twins and love interest OCs. But I might not do the same thing with Mila and Mia. It all depends on if I can think one of the princes would be a good suitor for Mia or something. Dunno.

classic fred (several movies and series) - you truly cannot go wrong with this look. there’s a REASON they keep going back to the OG outfits and it’s because they rock. the ascot was a cultural reset and it still is. 10/10

what’s new scooby doo fred - a really nice, modern spin on the classic outfit. love me a stripey shirt. this is a fred who would bring me ice cream at 3:00am because i was crying because my girlfriend dumped me and he’s my good friend and lesbian ally. 9/10

1. Do you know what really gets my blood boiling about this comic? Persephone and Demeter's relationship.

In the myths, Demeter and Persephone loved each other more than anything. Their reunion is so important - it marked the coming of spring and growth. A whole cult was dedicated to this for crying out loud. Yes, the myths were far from perfect, but the Persephone and Demeter myth showed the strength of a loving mother-daughter relationship with Demeter searching endlessly to find her child that was ripped away and had her innocence forcibly taken.

Now, RS is not the only author to make Demeter this over-bearing mother type in order to put more positivity onto the Hades-Persephone relationship. However, RS takes this trend to a whole new level - to the point where I would even consider it misogyny.

How is it, she takes this beautiful mother-daughter relationship and makes it out to be an abusive and controlling one, and then takes the Hades-Persephone relationship from a forceful one to a loving, perfect relationship with no problems? How is it ok to ruin one relationship to elevate another?

I understand that many versions of the myth try to downplay Hades' actions, and even make it so Persephone actually falls in love with him and there is no rape. But it doesn't change that this relationship was problematic, and meant to represent the loss of innocence.

Then fans have the gall to claim this comic is feminist and then claim on top of that that Demeter and Persephone's relationship was the same in the myth? These fans clearly don't know the myths, and neither does RS.

Making Hades a good person is fine. Changing it up a bit to make Persephone's loss of innocence something else is also fine. But ruining Demeter and Persephone's relationship? Especially when Persephone has to spend half the year with her? So horrible. 

2. im sorry, but rachel cant introduce KRONOS coming back and then dropping it for several episodes to focus on a stake-less trail and persephone not knowing what lingerie to seduce hades in. like thats too much of an earth shaking development and huge stake plot point to just ignore for months to focus instead on something as minor as hxp's relationship, which only points out a huge flaw: why is hxp's relationship so minor in this? isnt the whole point supposed to be about them?

3. I think LO completely dropped the ball over Hades’ characterization. 

From the first ep I thought ok, this is good, we have some bones to see he’s not that lucky in love and is just tired and lonely, and while ignoring the creepy actions towards Persephone, I thought ok, Artemis hates him, Hestia hates, even Ares hates him, maybe once Persephone finally sees the underworld and probably gets to know him it’ll be a clever twist and they’ll be proven wrong. The underworld will turn out to be fair and just, the citizens will love Hades, he’ll be revealed to be a good leader and king and not like his brothers, it’ll be like everyone saying Hades of myth isn’t actually that bad, and it’ll help reinforce why this sweet and bubbly Persephone wants him, she sees the real him, not the mean rumors and assumptions, this is perfect.

And then it just didn’t happen. The exact opposite happened, actually.

We’re shown the LO underworld is cruel and unjust, where the poor dead are forced into slavery and Hades created a harsh class divide with him and him only on top, the citizens hate him, the underworld gods don’t trust him and openly seem ok if he’s taken out of power, he’s not a good leader and king and doesn’t even want the job yet keeps it for his own ego and grip of power m, and on top of it all he is just like his brothers, if not worse. He loves to get violent over any little slight against him, he hoards wealth and resources to enrich himself while his citizens starve and struggle to survive, he’s corrupt, he controls all the media and laws to bend to his will, sleeps with his brothers wife for centuries behind his back while claiming to be holier than thou, he has sex with his secretaries who are made dependent on him for any way to survive, and now he lusts after his barely legal intern who is also now dependent on him for her way to survive, and that’s only what I remember off the top of my head.

LO perfectly set up to prove Hades isn’t the devil or the false pop culture assumption that he’s evil and to show some actual facts from myth, and yet Rachel only ended up reinforcing exactly that and even making him even worse with her made up ideas, all while thinking having Persephone ignore or excuse it somehow makes it not bad or even a good thing. It’s honestly kind of impressive just how bad of writing that actually is. 

4. Chapter 172 is not that interesting. It’s setup had me excited to see Hephaestus and Hera and learning more about echo, but it’s cut so short. Because again the story can’t leave HXP out for 2 seconds.

I can also see why Zeus is gonna go insane. 

5. i agree w/ other anon. LO should have pulled a PJO or a BoZ and just made up OCs and have them interact with the gods than whatever Rachel thinks shes doing, which is lying she's being accurate and faithful while completely changing all of it, removing what is needed, and adding what isnt so that it lines up with no actual myth besides like, various 50 shades fanfic she read in 2015 and some popular tumblr text posts.

6 . the animation studio behind blood of zeus literally can only draw one face for the men and one face for the women and they were still able to make the gods all look distinct and hot while LO can't even bother to use more than 6 colors and can only have the women look as tiny as possible with the biggest boobs while the men are all just lego men.

Okay so like I stopped reading LO way back before season 1 ended, and a majority of my knowledge of the series comes from what I read here on your blog which is enough for me lol and I decided to read the latest 5 chapters just to see what's up (on zahard. I refuse to give the actual series any views)

And I just. Could not take the whole scene with Daphne running from Apollo seriously? The anatomy and art inconsistency was so distracting that i genuinely could not find it serious. Even when Thanatos discovers her hibernated body I couldn't take it seriously because of how she looked?

And when Hades had that call (??? Was it a call? Or his inner dialogue? I couldn't really tell ngl) with Zeus and said he's causing Persephone unnecessary distress, and that she didn't pose any threat. B!tch??? She killed a ton of mortals??? She has no control over her powers???? She's literally a fugitive for the aforementioned things??? She apparently woke Kronos up? (Idk if anyone knows about that, again my knowledge only spans to whatever I read here) Hello????

And I have a lot to say about the chapters starting the trial but I'll only mention one thing; Hades saying "I don't think blindly supporting my little brother would be doing him any favours (as a ruler)" had me cackling. This is coming from a guy blindly supporting a girl he's literally only known for a few weeks, who's like what, only recently turned 20? Sit tf down Hades you're not cool, you creepy ass overgrown smurf.

Overall I still hate this series lmao. Regarding art though I feel like I wouldn't be so miffed about the anatomy much if the character designs were consistent and the story was compelling. They literally change hairstyles and body types frame by frame, and it's distracting.

The timeline from what I read here is laughable. 4 years in publication with almost 200 chapters and you're telling me only like a month has passed canonically. That's wild and such poor writing.

And as someone who literally will sympathise with any lead character pretty quickly, the story makes me hate them. It makes me want to root against them. I also hate the fact this trash is somehow top ranked on webtoons when so many other stories are far better then it.
